Leslie Gunter
MA
Leslie Gunter is a counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Her counseling approach emphasizes building a caring therapeutic relationship, listening closely to clients' stories, and engaging in collaborative dialogue to explore their experiences. Leslie hopes clients experience a safe space to reflect, gain insight, and identify areas of growth while exploring pathways toward meaningful change.
Leslie works with individuals navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and spiritual integration. She is especially passionate about helping clients deepen their understanding of their life experiences and expand the ways they approach and live their lives, thoughtfully integrating faith into the counseling process when it is meaningful for the client.
Outside of counseling, Leslie enjoys serving with RUF campus ministry, gathering with friends for Sunday evening fellowship, and hobbies such as reading, running, and making coffee. She lives in Jackson with her husband, Peyton, where they enjoy hosting friends and playing board games.
