OUR STORY

It began with a question.

What becomes possible when the people who carry the most receive the care they need?

Over the years, we saw leaders, teams, and families serving faithfully — yet quietly exhausted. Passionate about their work. Committed to their calling. But running on empty, without sustainable support or a safe place to tend to their own stories.

What was missing wasn't passion or calling. It was care. Intentional, ongoing, biblically grounded and clinically informed care — for the people doing the most demanding work.

The Rest Initiative was formed from a simple conviction: wholeness is possible, and sustainable care must be intentional. We exist to make that care accessible — for leaders, for teams, and for the individuals and families who carry so much.

WHAT GUIDES US

Rested. Resilient. Renewed.

Rested

We believe rest is not a reward for the depleted but a rhythm for the whole. Care begins by making space to breathe.

Resilient

Resilience is built, not summoned. We strengthen the people and systems that carry the most, for the long haul.

Renewed

Renewal is possible — emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. We walk with people until wholeness takes root.

"When leaders and teams are healthy, ministry thrives. We have seen it again and again — and it is why we do this work."
