Kate Kim

MA, LPC

Kate Kim is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. She views counseling through an attachment lens, believing that early family systems, relational experiences, and one's relationship with God deeply shape how people relate to themselves, their work, and others. Kate sees the therapeutic relationship as a key space for developing greater security, understanding, and connection.

Kate works with individuals, couples, and families navigating family systems dynamics, work–life balance, spiritual integration, relational concerns, and identity development. She is especially passionate about supporting healthy relationships — particularly within marriage — and caring for those working in ministry or nonprofit settings.

Outside of counseling, Kate is married and part of a blended family with young children. She is an Auburn football fan who enjoys movies, cooking, and being involved in her church community. Having worked in ministry and nonprofit environments for many years, Kate brings a deep appreciation for the unique challenges faced by individuals and families serving others.
